“We were a large family group, covering ages from 9, teens, 30s, 40s and 60s.We contacted Lulworth Outdoors and asked them to put together a package of activity of fun and informative adventure around this beautiful spot. They succeeded magnificently, we were anxious at the coasteering, blown away by the guided walk and had lots of fun with the archery.”

Throughout the school holidays, children can get involved with a whole host of events organised by the Lulworth Rangers including fossil workshops, wildlife walks and rock pool school. Or younger children can enjoy take part in our Lulworth Treasure Hunt, where they learn to problem solve and navigate on the green by the Cove, using a self-led kit available from the Visitor Centre Reception.
From archery to orienteering, bushcraft and guided walks, there are loads of activities that are great for children aged 7+ as they learn to explore with a growing curiosity. Once children turn 8, they can join our coasteering groups for an awesome sea-based adventure. Be reassured that our experienced staff are used to taking out groups of children, and are one of the few activity providers in the area which is accredited to take out younger people.
For Older Children & Teenagers
Coasteering provides a unique opportunity for young people to address fears and concerns – and to overcome them. It is a great team building exercise, helping youngsters to build self-confidence, support other participants and to help make new friends. Orienteering and bushcraft teach valuable life skills. But even just booking a session and having a break from the norm, we have found provides the impetus for change and self-improvement.
As well as the physical health benefits of outdoor activities, research is appearing daily which demonstrates the psychological benefits of getting outside and getting the body moving. From experience, we’ve seen countless adults experience a real change to their outlook on life, simply from challenging themselves in one of our activities. All of our adventures go at the slowest participants’ pace, so people need never worry about being left behind. But if you’re considering improving yourself, breaking down barriers, addressing phobias – then join us for an adventure. Our more leisurely activities – like archery – are perfect for group activities.
